Hey there, blog world.
I must admit, as a blog reader, I've many times thought "Hmm, what if I started a blog?" I've always enjoy reading about the lives of others, classroom happenings, new recipes, and places to travel. But writing a blog?! That's a whole different ballgame. Who would read my blog? And, more importantly, what would I write about?!
Recently, it was suggested to me that I should start a blog as a digital portfolio. And suddenly, the pieces of the puzzle came together. With a blog, not only could I document and reflect on the awesomeness happening with my students, but I could easily share that information with other educators. I could break free of Twitter's 140 characters restriction and the struggle that comes when I want to share so much with my PLN!
So, here I am! I am eager to share the things I am passionate about (flexible seating, global collaboration, Skype in the Classroom), and I look forward to reflecting on areas where I hope to grow this year, (Genius Hour, STEM/STEAM & making).
Thanks for being here, and I can't wait to connect and share with you!
